If you thought racing is what you would have wanted to do when you have free time, Cars DSGame is probably a very good alternative for you. Following the movie based on the adventures of Lightning McQueen, Cars DSGame is probably a good way to keep your kid occupied as he would be enthralled by the popping eyeballs of the cars.

To be honest, when I bought over the Cars Nintendo DS, I thought my kids could be in for some fun for sure. But when I popped through some of the mini games, it became clear that there really was nothing new about the game itself. The Cars Nintendo DS surely was good on graphics, but its gameplay had a lot to improve.

What probably made matters worse were that the Cars DSGame didn’t have a good concept to back on. At times when the gameplay is not too good, a good concept more than covers the game up for its deficiencies. That doesn’t happen with the Cars DSGame, and with the sound of the events being just average, the Cars DSGame definitely doesn’t stir your soul.

With an overall rating of 5, the Cars Nintendo DS definitely couldn’t be considered a game, which you as a pro gamer would like to play. But yes, as a newbie to gaming, the Cars Nintendo DS is definitely something you would wish a try.
